The problem I had with Booktrader was remembering whether to right clik or left clik. This is not a problem when you have plenty of time but if your in a hurry this can be costly. Buttontrader will not allow you to put in a sell limit order beneath the bid or a buy limit above the ask but...

I would certanly think Quotetracker is the most used charting with IB. Why is it not on the list? Buttontrader is the best of the execution platforms, imho.

I did quite a bit of reading yesterday and one of the things that make me back off a bit was that it said the feed from IB was DDE. I'll have to go back and check that again.

There are so many different ways to trade that is seems pointless to me to say what does and doesnt work. It may not work for you but I can almost guarantee that there is someone out there who does it.

That is very good advice bear. Simple and absolutely true. You could substitute setup for system if your not a system trader.
