Would one of you guys with a 24" screen give me the actual viewable width of it. Im assuming the 24 is a diagonal measurement but im more interested in the actual width of the visible screen. tia

I have not used Ninja but I am using Buttontrader with IB and I like it so much that I always reccommend it to people inquiring about software. The thing that I like so much about it is the ease with which you can make adjustments to your strategy once you are in the trade.

Yep Jacks stuff is really deep. Way over the heads of most people. No sense in even trying to understand all that mumbo jumbo when Trading for Dummies is only about $20.

I did one trade, long on bar 6 and washed for -2 ticks. It was pointed out to me in the room that the first three bars were declining volume which I seem to have overlooked so I did learn something. How can computers deal with the illogical?:)

I dont really use time and sales so I dont track it that closely but the time and sales on qt matches the last trade on tws and the combination of QT and IB works well for me. The different data feeds Ive tried were no better than IB and some were definitely worse but I havent tried them all.

Not sure if this is what you mean but Quotetracker with IB time and sales shows trades going off at bid in red and ask in green. <img src="http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1458655">

I noticed in Spyders YM chart that he had a carryover channel from premarket highs.

If you can trade the minis it really doesnt take much to get started. With IB my charting and frontend only cost a few dollars a month and you can open an account with 2k. It takes awhile to build a small account up but after a few months you will be off to the races.

Its so easy a caveman could do it.
