I have been pecking away 1 at a time since 831.25. At under 805 I will get much more aggressive. If I am wrong, I'll have to stay up nights trading the Hang Seng's afternoon session...:(

Two consecutive gaps down on the ES. Two days in a row with the PP not being touched. I smell a rally this afternoon back to 835, possibly 841.

There is still a gap on the SPX from November right at 800. Am not getting aggressive until that has been filled.

If ES prints 837.00, then no strong close today, most likely.

Is that a BULL FLAG I see? And an imminent retest of the opening range low on the ten-year, the refuge for risk-averse traders?

You mean 34.75, right? Regarding S3 levels, I did a test on S3 on SPY a couple of years ago: buy S3, get out at close. Something around 29% annual returns non-compounded since 1993.

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

How about trading in an IRA? A Roth IRA, perhaps? Even a regular IRA? I assume IRAs would be exempt. Imagine the outrage if they weren't. Someone takes taxed money out of their bank account to do a Roth IRA, and then get taxed for actually trying to increase it so they don't have to rely...

    Question for the Athiests

Wallet, Any response here? I mean, a least a SHOT? :p

    Question for the Athiests

I am aware of the gap theory, but even that is indefensible, since the ORDER of the creation is way off. On day three (or is it "age" three, lol), God created plants, and on day four God created the sun. As we know, plants cannot survive without the sun. If a day is an age, then how did...

    Question for the Athiests

For instance, the Bible states that all life was created essentially at the same time, within less than a week. Scientific evidence overwhelmingly refutes this notion. Every bit of evidence gathered in the geologic record supports the notion that many species preceded mankind by millions...

    Question for the Athiests

Are you saying that the Bible is a MORE RELIABLE way to obtain scientific truth than the scientific method, and therefore disagreeing with my easily demonstrable proposition that the scientific method is more reliable than biblical revelation as a means of discovering scientific truth?

    Question for the Athiests

It is not a matter of opinion. The Bible is filled with scientific misinformation. In terms of the finding and testing of truth, the scientific method is much more reliable than biblical revelation.
