exactly, that's what happened here. do you know the range which is ok... i think maybe every trade outside the 2% range (1509 +/- 30 pkt) will be busted, but i don't know how the range actually is

Mistrade Range? took a shitload long at 1390 btw. short time ago in the DAX future about the same time (just after FDAX open) a fat finger bought it up 100 pt, no mistrades (of course, only 1 1/2% off regular price)

depends on the size of your order. example stock A 9.99/10.01, with 1000 shares offered at 10.01. you buy 200 limit 10.20 -> executed @ 10.01. but if you buy 5000 limit 10.20, you only get 1000 @ 10.01, and the rest at higher prices (if theres an offer at 10.02 of 1000 you get this another...

or he only changed his order flow... more variation in buying... still bigger orders floating in 7450...

the big question is, where will he close all those contracts... i have no idea... just going long slightly above 7450 and selling around 7457.50, stop 7439.50

i want to add that it depends very much on your trading style imho. With my technique (more loosing trades with small losses than the big winning trades) it's different to someone who makes lots of small winner, with a small risk for a bigger loss. by the way: this "more loosing trades...

well, you say you have a large investment account. this 2% "rule" is there in order to protect you from getting broke on a ("bad luck") loosing streak. But since you won't be out of business if you get broke or down to 25k, it's sure ok to risk more per trade... I have around 100k in my IB...
