I have a domain (call it mydomain.com) with a fixed IP address which I want to create a subdomain under (downloads.mydomain.com) which points to an open port (not port 80, but some other random port) on my local PC.
Although I have a dynamic IP address on my local PC, it's pretty much fixed...
Has anyone traded these? If so how are the spreads and the volume? And can anyone confirm these are available for side-by-side with the pits/thievery dens?

Is it normal to place a stop market order, have your stop price hit, and yet the order doesn't fill? That's what happened to me today, and I'm finding it a little unusual.....but then again who knows with those pit traders.....
Just as I've heard about people complaining when their money manager made too much money for them (their complaint was that they now had to pay taxes on their profits) I bet this will bring some IB critics out of the woodwork to complain about how they're not getting round number fills and they...
Can I still get a worse price if I want, then post nasty things about IB when I do? Just asking so some of the IB bashers won't have to.
I'm sure there will be some issues with this (mostly caused by "user error") but I think this is AWESOME. Yet another way IB is making things better (I...
No, I doubt it, since they said they will submit the order to an exchange at a rounded down or up price. See their examples on their website of how it will work.
Still, I wonder how it would show the exchange if the trade is filled if it fills internally at IB -- I guess they're the...
I normally shut down my trading PC every night (and over the weekend) as it's only used for trading during market hours. This morning one of the two hard drives failed (they were set up in RAID 1 configuration) and it was able to boot from the other drive and run all day.
A replacement...
Jack I don't think your example correct unless it's been changed very recently (since last month). The numbers are correct, but the difference between the actual commissions and $10 will be deducted from the sub-accounts, not the master advisor account.
I have two data feeds, one under the...
Market data subscription fees are paid out of the master account. For example if you subscribe to DTB market data for the DAX futures that amount will be deducted from the master account.
However, if you have a sub account which doesn't meet the $30 minimum for commissions, the $10 fee...
I'm trading cotton as part of a futures diversification strategy (where I try to lose money in as many different markets as possible :p). I guess I'll just eat the slippage, not much I can do....
Aside from "don't let those bastards in the pit rob you blind" does anyone have any suggestions for trading Cotton #2 in the NYBOT pits? I made my first trade today, a sell stop market at 4849 that was filled at 4820. I know stop markets are literally handing your wallet to the scum in the...
I'm not comfortable holding 5 ES contracts overnight -- if I'm going to be holding futures longs overnight I always buy some far out of the money puts as insurance.
My post was not intended to say that you cannot sell options and be profitable provided you properly manage risk. It...
