    Fun money

I guess that's why it's called a market. June is historically one of my most profitable months. In fact it was my last very good month of 2016. Each month since has been below average.

    Is manual day trading dead?

Dead?, absolutely not but it has gotten more difficult in recent years. This would be a tough environment for a newbie.

Perfect example of why Al Brooks is impossible to follow

He left the field so he could raise his daughters after he and his wife split and he had custody. He could of course trade (and earn a living) from home.

Perfect example of why Al Brooks is impossible to follow

Agree, as I've noted in the past Al and I traded together years ago. He is smart, very hard working and knows his stuff. I've never seen his or anyone's P&L and don't care to but before the books and the courses, Al was putting his daughters through school as a single Father and living in a nice...

    Over-trading versus Fear of Loss

The only reason I will stop trading for the day is if I get tired or want to go do something else. If your system works...trade it. Over trading is taking entries with no defined signal or getting out of a trade which has not met your stop or target parameters and then you decide to re-enter. If...

    Over-trading versus Fear of Loss

I am not questioning your methodology as I have no idea whether it works or not but I do know that if I bailed a position every time it ticked against me or stalled, I would leave a whole boatload of winners on the table.

    Over-trading versus Fear of Loss

If your system has a positive expectancy, you should take all defined signals. No one knows whether the next series of signals will result in wins, losses or any combination.
