I know AMTD offers futures trading. So is it possible to use their data feed to get futures data on Quotetracker? If so, what symbol format is used?

for those that use Quotetracker, have you used the Regression Channel indicator feature? i tend to be lazy and i like how QT does the work for me. :D

I don't want to give away anyone's secret but here it is. Put up a USO chart up on your screen. Add Camarilla pivot points. Compare that chart to your CL chart. It should be VERY obvious why your friend went short there. I always have a USO chart along with CL chart when I trade and it helps.

I find Kospi similar to CL. Unlike US equity indexes, this thing can move up fast as it can come down.

I use IB(Interactivebrokers) to trade Kospi. If you can trade crude, you can trade Kospi. One slight difference I noticed with Kospi vs. US equities is that upswings can be violently quick. But overall, it's a good vehicle to trade technically.

take mr. bone's advice to heart. a few mess up here and there and your account could be gone before you can say "oh $#*t!"

mr. bourbon, dont exclue some programs just b/c they don't offer night programs. just get in the best program you can. you can trade asian markets as well. i've been trading kospi for a few months and the volatility is as good as CL. besides, the market will always be there. your youth...

it actually started working again later that evening. at least for me. you might want to try to clear the chart data and refill.

anyone else having stuck charts for nasdaq symbols? time is stuck at 12:10pm but i think it's still plotting price. :confused:

if you're able to find a job in this crappy economy by all means take it. if trading is truly your passion, learn to trade kospi or even crude oil after hours. crude has been very active after hours lately.

I thought it was just a higher low and tweezer bottom at 260.60 on 5 min chart that brought it back up. But I agree the move was quite stronger than expected. I sometimes watch Bloomberg TV Asia but that's about it. http://www.bloomberg.com/tv/

IB rep via chat told me I can enter trades even though there's no quotes/data. Anyone try this?

It used to be around 4500 won just a few months ago, or so I thought. There hasn't been significant change in currency exchange rate so I thought it was IB that raised the commish rate. Oh well, another bend over and grab your ankle action from a broker.

It seems IB raised the commission rate to over $5/trade. Did they ever give a reason why?
