    The ACD Method

Hello DT3, Everything I have per ACD is stolen from Master Mav. Per his previous posts, the first day of the month establishes the Monthly A up and down levels and they don't get the up or down signal until the entire daily bar is above or below that line. (Also, we all know he's a tape...

    The ACD Method

Hello Mav, Something that initially looks interesting is tracking the total monthly A Ups and Downs for all Worden's common stocks with a close greater than 5 and the average 21 day volume greater than 100,000. Today there were only 6 A Ups (CLFD, GIMO, KRA, LTC, LXP, SIMO) and 108 A...

    The ACD Method

From Worden’s list of 7,427 common stocks, only 16 confirmed the Fisher 5 day rolling outside day up pattern. Probably just the stocks you experienced guys would expect to see. AIRA, DOG, DXD, ERY, IGOV, PB, PPR, SDOW, SHY TBBK, TVIX, UVXY, VIIX, VIXY, VXX, VXY

    The ACD Method

In the event someone might have an interest. I've completed a few backtests of the 5 day rolling outside reversal up and relevant points are: >Not that much difference in results between the last bar just being a) a higher high than the previous 9 bars or b) the last bar being both a higher...

    The ACD Method

Per Mark Fisher’s NYMEX 3rd video at the approximate 38:20 area is a discussion about the 5 day rolling outside reversal up pattern. As you know, the conventional 2 bar outside day has H>H1 and today's low is less than yesterday. For the “Up” pattern they often add today’s close...

Hello Mav, If you're currently keeping the numberline for AAPL, perhaps you could post the 5 day as of the close on Thursday, the 16th? Thanks

    The ACD Method

I’ll be interested in Mav’s numbers too. My AAPL Monthly A levels are 541.19 and 567.86 so I had an A down on Friday. Quarterlies are 511.19 and 579.44 and yearly’s will start calculating in a few days.

    The ACD Method

Any other ACD newbies following these stocks? These are the notes I made tonight. >AAPL is hanging right around the Monthly A Down at 541.19 >ACT pierced and closed above the Mo A up at 174.89. Sure looks strong. >GME confirmed A down at 46.19 but on a strong bar. (I have backtested...

Mav, do you reset your weekly levels on the first of the month or just let them go from Monday to Friday? Thank you sir.

Ha - got me. Even though I'm a city manager my degree is in bean counting. And, most bean counters can't never see the forest? : ) I'll make it equal to or greater for a confirmed. It's part of a scan I created and it's my nature. Thanks for the valued input in the post that followed.

    The ACD Method

Hello Mav, Here's one I haven't seen yet. From my Mav list of 47 stocks, my monthly A up for P is 29.00 (and it’s very rare that any A levels don’t have some amount of change). Yesterday’s low was 29! When the daily low is dead on the level like this, do you consider it an A up or do...

    The ACD Method

Hello Mav, Thank you for the posts today. Really outstanding. I've added them to my “Mav the Man” book. I have a question about the calculations of your monthly A levels that I don’t think would impose on your proprietary material. Are you using ATR averages or daily...

Got it and thank you. Yes they are magic. I would like to be closer. Tried historical volatility today and that's interesting. How'd my Mav Book stand up to the others you've received?

    The ACD Method

Hello Mav, Thanks again for listing the stocks you’re currently following. As you’re aware, I’ve taken all your previously posted weekly/monthly/quarterly stock A Ups and Downs and done a bit of homework with them. I know we all need to establish our own levels but I’m curious if...
