At the beginner level you will be 'late' on entry and early on exit. The idea is to get your eyes on charts (screen time), and minimize the risk to your money. As you gain experience you will get in earlier and hold longer, and using your skills to minimize the greater risk. The whole idea...

Great job, I didn't proofread very well. I meant to say: In a channel we go from pt1 to pt2, which is shown as lower RIGHT to upper LEFT as we BO of the old channel's RTL (for an up channel or long), the opposite occurs in a down channel (upper RIGHT to lower LEFT ). Sorry for the...

It seems you have chosen to assume I meant the PRICE bars, this method uses other bars also.

Look at the first three bars today versus the first three bars of a W/M day. Just the ES bars only. What are the differences?

During a price cycle we travel around the Jokari window in a figure eight. In a channel we go from pt1 to pt2, which is shown as lower left to upper right as we BO of the old channel's RTL (for an up channel or long), the opposite occurs in a down channel (upper left to lower right). See...

No, it is a LTL bounce and not a FTT. This was covered much later than the post you referenced.

Ah yes, the variation in charting software and the data delays! My Qcharts slows down during 'high' volume periods and the 1000 bar to 1005 bar transition shows the same as Spydertrader's chart. But my backup charting software and feed are like the other charts posted today, showing a DT...

    Price/Volume Relationship

Really, that's funny? How? What consumed supply then? Price? Is that it, Price consumed supply? Now that IS funny! Did you even read this to yourself first? Say it out loud and tell us what it sounds like. So you are saying if price sits at the best bid and best ask and does not move there...

Regarding today's action, I have noticed lower volume levels and as a result, less price movement per bar. I pulled out Mak's volume vs. volatility chart to remind myself to expect less movement. This has helped me draw 'narrower' channels then I have recently. I notice I'm staying in trades...

Let me ask you a question. In your red down channel, do you have a pt3? What is required to have a pt3? I don't see any volume in your example. Volume and it's annotations are essential to answering our questions, as it tells us if our channels are properly drawn.

From Chat: bighog (Nov 29, 2007 11:18:45 AM) If i bought a brand new car and wanted to go somewhere with it i would first need that motivation for me to start the car and go forward or backward, whichever way i saw fit. The car would go nowhere until i told it to move and i out gasoline in...

I have a lot of experience with 'simming' vs the real thing :D The very FIRST time I landed the B-777, I did so with a plane full of people and at one of the world's busiest and demanding airports (London Heathrow). If it wasn't for an excellent sim experience, that landing wouldn't be...
