    E-mini Rookie Trading Journal

hello just some statistical thought. if you take a loss on 3 contracts, lets say $150 - $200, thats about 4% of your account...your "risk of ruin" is not that far away, you only need 4 or 5 losing trades in a row and you are down by 20%...you then need 25% to just break even...not mentioned...

...you better work on that, chances are, that there has started a period on the 3th of july - could easily last couple of weeks - where trading from the long side is recommended :) look at this http://www.mrci.com/lbr/charts/20020705/4.htm :) trading

I always thought the # buyers = #sellers. Try more askers than bidders.;) [/B] ..lol...try this one: if the need of the sellers to sell is greater than the need of the buyer to buy...that drives prices down....and vice versa :) trading

    Successful Trading

great thread. i am also thinking about, who to overcome those psychological limitations within a trader. the "to do so as if" is not going far enough IMO. you have to open a second account, place an "operator" on the other side of your desk and advice this person, strictly to open the...

The Evolution of an E-mini Trader

with small funds, i believe, you are better off by trading the smallest timeframe available with 2 or 3 contracts, than trading the highest timeframe possible with 1 contract. and you dont have to ask yourself that kind of question: is 950 the turn around or not...??? when you trade on...

The Evolution of an E-mini Trader

IMO the problem here is about trading ONE contract versus trading TWO (or multiple) contracts. if you enter a winning trade with only 1 contract, you finally get stopped out at some point, because you need to protect your gains (in other words, you are feeling "fear" of losing your profits)...

The Evolution of an E-mini Trader

@janko "The way that i like to get into some of my trades i first look at the 60 min, then 30 then 15 then 5 and then 1 in for entry." ok, but what is the timeframe, you trade on ? what i want to say is, you can look at all the timeframes, but first you have to determine the timeframe...

The Evolution of an E-mini Trader

hello, the way down from 10.00 AM to 11.30 AM was great "retracement" trading...on this kind of downtrend you can find often an A-B-C corrective wave up or "bearflag" for entry. dont hook on the EMAs too much (there is always an EMA waiting), just watch the patterns. but what did i tell...

The Evolution of an E-mini Trader

hello huios, as teresa lo once said, there are only 2 setups: retracements + tests, so you are on the right track with your entry. but as you can read everywhere, entries didnt decide the game anyway. perhaps you have to see things together: a) timeframe b) risk c) target d) account...

best chat room for emini (for education and for real time calls)

hello all, i scanned alot throug the "educational charts" on the LBR site in former times, and i wonder, what else could happen in the RTchat for §350...isnt it the same thing as in the edu-chart ? those grails, antis, 3 pushes up/down, flaggs, the SMA enter trick...over and over...market...
