i did not get that point with the "noise". if you look on a 1min chart, you can find trend + chop, consolidation + continuation pattern, breakouts + trend reversals. its all there as on any other timeframe and there is as much "noise" as on any other timeframe IMO. and it is as hard to trade on...

hi brutus, what you call "trade trend reversal" is nothing different then try to pick a top or bottom and hope it will work out as a trend reversal...if you compare top or bottom picking with trading retracements or continuation patterns, you will find something simple: on top or bottom...

so your gains on the 80% must be too small or your losses on the 20% must be too big...i think its the first one ? also my problem, the classic "cutting (some) winners short". i think the critical piont of steping out of the break-even zone is to capitalize on the few big winners, that you hit...

1 of my favorite pattern: condition: 5min is trending. lets say uptrend. 5min is starting pullback in the direction of 20ema. i then look for a 3 wave down or ABC pattern on 1min inside of this 5min pullback. after the 3 wave down it retrace to test the last high. :) trading

did i look as if i ever would PAY for a silly teaching....:p to be honest, they are all talking of "trading plan" and "you have to write it down..." so i made that...ok, you are right, it sounds a bit stupid, but its my first trading plan ever writen... :)
