    Attention: I am now short!

No indicator will get you in at the top or bottom. No one rings a bell saying SELL NOW...and no one rings a bell saying BUY NOW. You have no clue if my indicators are useless or not. I have plenty of data and statements to prove they do. It really is sad to see you say such things on...

    Attention: I am now short!

No problem....But this post shows that you have poor comprehension of correct position sizing. Position sizing is determined based on market volatility and stop loss placement. The farther the stop amd more volatility the fewer shares are bought. I am not putting my entire protfolio in this...

Because my indicators told me to. I do not day trade and my stop is at $21.68. If the trade starts to go against me I can raise my stop. NOT worried. As a trend trader I have to be willing to be wrong at times and willing to accept normal market fluctuations.

You have me confused with someone else. I never had a long QQQ position. Profit target about $28.

Technical Analysis is .......to my trading...

Some think that looking at price alone and whether it is rising or falling as all that mattters. They think that the "fancy indicators" (like MACD, RSI, EMA's, etc.) just regurgitate the same information and are lagging and thus useless to use to trade. Also there are too many false signals...

Technical Analysis is .......to my trading...

Fill in the blank. I know many of you think TA is useless. I am curious to know how many people actually incorporate it in their trading system. TA is __________.

    Attention: I am now short!

That's what my point was earlier. You can be RIGHT and still lose money. It is all in the timing that the money is made. How are you defining your exit? I swing trade as well but I tend to follow my indicators (I know its a bad word on this forum) to tell me when to get in and out. I have...

BTW I was not ridiculing him. I was asking, I think, legitamate questions about someones trading style. If you are here posting stuff you shoould at least have a reason for what you are saying. Even if your reason is flawed....but to give no reason is just mindless mental masturbation.

    Expectancy blunder

I will play devils advocate here and say that it is more than that. I realize that expectancy being > 0 means a profitable system over the number of trades in the data set. You do not need a fancy number to tell you that if your profit is greater than losses....simple...I get it. That is...

    Attention: I am now short!

Your silence speaks volumes... How can you expect anyone to take you seriously and potentially learn from you or even care to educate you when your words are not backed up with action? Why not post what YOU think will happen and how you came up with it? There are only 3 ways the market...

YW,...but I have to ask,...did you take the trade or just "paper trade" as has been mentioned above?. It is a bit curious that you have failed to deny the accusation.

    Excel Expectancy (tharp) issue

As mentioned above it is an average of the total R per trade. Add the R's in D column and divide by th enumber of trades. Just gives average R earned per trade.

How do you think this will play out?

You are playing with fire and you are just lucky you have not gotten burned too bad. Do you even understand how leveraged ETFs work? If not go read about how they are recalculated everyday. You have a recipe for losing alot of money fast with what you are doing. I also assume you are VERY...
