Yes, MT already addressed the issue you are thinking of, so new Java should work fine

y, gotta take the big step. I still have to use QT myself since while developing MT I constantly have to restart, reload different settings, etc. So well aware of the issues.

if indicators like volume show, then most likely there is a bad quote and you have spike filter turned off. Is the scale on the side of the chart showing? If so, but with bad values, then try removing the highest or lowest point on the chart. If no data shows, then it may be the routing issue...

Assuming you are in fact getting backfill from Stockwatch, (check if only Stockwatch is shown on the dashboard), check 2 places: 1) SETTINGS / CHARTS / GENERAL - there is a field for "Max # of Days of Intraday Data [.....]" 2) SETTINGS / Data Sources / Configure Accounts - click on Stockwatch...

Not sure what you mean. MT can hold 120 days. Stockwatch can do 40 backfill. MT lets you control both settings. All depends on what you have it set to.

if you have the symbols in a comma separated list (or tab separated or one per line) you can just copy/paste or drag the symbols to an MT portfolio

MT itself will not interfere with QT, though there may be restrictions on multiple concurrent connections for some datafeeds. Don't remember if there is one with Stockwatch. As for Indices - that usually happens if the index provider charges for the indicator and the datafeed vendors want to...

there shouldn't be any issues with backfill at this point. And certainly would work better than QT with Yahoo and Stockwatch.

No idea, but I don't even recognize that symbol format - what is it? and any particular reason you are using QT with Yahoo vs MT?

FYI - We released Integrate Trading in MT last night. Currently with TD Ameritrade and IB. Also have configurations for Tradier and TradeKing, though not released (can give on request if anyone wants to test)

Were you getting 500 before? If so, copy the IBSTR.SDF file from the QT folder on the computer where it was working to the one you are using now
