    Ping Time/Def or anyone

3000- thats an awfully long delay. Sounds like there may be a problem somewhere between you and the server being pinged.

On the intraday charts, we have the following http://www.quotetracker.com/help/techind.shtml I am pretty sure that list is complete. there may be one or two others. Will be adding others soon. Historical Charts have more. Best thing to do is download and look - the list is different on...

    DDE Question

ah, did not know that. Must be a restriction on the DDE feed specifically.

    DDE Question

IQFeed has full support for Excel DDE. Their subscription is max 500 symbols. $20/month + exchange fees (more for options, futures) if signed up through QuoteTracker. Excel DDE can be used with that subscription with or without QuoteTracker running. http://www.quotetracker.com/iqfeed

    Computer periodically reboots

it can also be some hardware conflict. My new PC was doing that (Win XP). Took out the DVD Writer. Not a single lockup, crash or reboot since then. Did you check the system event log to see if any errors are reported?

Azzie, There are differences in what you can do with them: * IQFeed is max 500 symbols. Money.net is max 80 * IQFeed has backfill data included * IQFeed supports more exchanges (futures, eminis, etc). Money.net supports SSFs

    Need help with Computer Problem

A common cause of that is bad video drivers (yes, video, not mouse). Check to make sure you have the most updated drivers.

    Changing Operating Systems

You can do that, and I know many that have. However, its usually best to do a complete clean install. I personally upgraded Windows NT to XP and also know someone who upgraded Win 98 to XP without any problems, but some people have ran into issues until they re-installed from Scratch. BTW...

The most cheapest data feed !!

It is exactly the same datafeed. The pricing is special for QuoteTracker users. I do believe you have to have the full priced version if you want to use other software. (I guess their API checks). I know that QT is able to connect to the full priced IQFeed subscription datafeed. Its only...

    Quote Tracker and Stock Screener

Not at this time. Don't know about implementing it in the future. If you can get a comma separated list out of the data the screener returns, you can just paste it into QT

    Quote Tracker and Stock Screener

Spark, QuoteTracker does not have screening capabilities, though there are some 3rd party products that implement screening and tie into QT.

    Data: Real-Time vs. Streaming

If you are using Scottrade, then yes, the data is aggregated, though not nearly as much as it would be with an auto-refresh quote source. Scottrade's data should be more than enough for charting, but not enough for T&S. What broker do you use?

    IB and QT Integration Screenshot/Funtionality

Ah, if it was only so easy. You want LIMIT. John Doe wants trailing stops, someone else wants relative orders. Each broker handles this completely differently. Account balances is even worse - what exactly are you going to check? A particular value? Each broker returns data differently and...

    IB and QT Integration Screenshot/Funtionality

rickty, We thought about it, but do not know if it will be implemented in the near future. If we do it, we have to implement it in a way that will be consistent regardless of the broker being used, yet not limit the functionality specific to the broker. Not an easy thing to do considering...

    Data: Real-Time vs. Streaming

Gordo - Since I did the naming of the sites, I will try to explain. Many sites provide real-time data via snapshot quotes - you refresh a page, and they return a real-time quote. For the quote to update, you have to refresh the page again. Other sites provide streaming data - An...
