My post collapse firearms are a couple of Springfield armory M1a's in .308 caliber. I have one set up for day use, one for night. (out in the country, no other homes within range of my yard:) ) (also have a couple of handguns/shotguns for inside use)

Siaga (this company) makes a great magazine fed shotgun that is fairly cheap. (see my post for a picture on page one) BTW- DO NOT SAW OFF A SHOTGUN!!! (unless you would enjoy "prison sex":eek: ) That's a federal offense if it is under 18 1/2 inches long.

Seems to be a conservative trade, A little over 90% chance it will be successful & a 7-8% return on risk.

Are you SURE about the numbers? I just looked at RY and there is no October 54 strike. The Oct 55 strike is only .85 cents & the 60 call is 0 :confused:

The option is only 100 shares, not 1000. Five dollar spread = 500.00

It's probably a safe trade, I'm just a little on edge. I am not convinced this rally won't have a small correction sooner or later. I try to stick with index options myself. I've been burned before by the odd analyst upgrade individual stock options sometimes experience. :(

You have more guts than I do:) With the end of the quarter coming up & earnings reports starting to roll in? It is certainly far enough out of the money to be considered "safe" & any other time I would be comfortable with it. I'm sure it will work out though, I'm just a big pussy...

I just received my property tax bill in the mail- I am going to pay it with the profits from my "sim" account!:p I agree, real money trades a LOT differently than sim money.

What a bunch of shameless pigs. They crashed the economy and now they want help? Sure, how about we fund this tax credit with a special excise tax on real estate commissions, transfers & mortgage origination's. 1% from each should be sufficient.

I am referring to a bull call spread (assuming you have a bullish outlook) Say the stock is at 80, you buy an 80 call and sell a 90. The premium collected on the 90 offsets the purchase of the 80.

Is there any reason why nobody seems to be a fan of spreads? Unless you were expecting a huge move from earnings wouldn't you do better with a debit spread?

MY GOD- The man IS a GENIOUS! He managed to turn that 1k into 100k in ONE DAY just like he promised! Ok, it is "sim" money but still, to do it on a WEEKEND when options aren't even being traded is just astounding. My only hope is that some day, if I can manage to post enough on this forum that...
