    It was directed at the guy above who was saying how china's economy/market are all fake and government controlled and will collapse, us is not much different, hence the pot meet kettle comment. The only difference is china has the storage to weather the crisis.

    it's the shanghai tower, it should complete by 2013 ahead of schedule - 5 years start to finish. Usa took a decade to break ground on the 9/11 freedom tower... By comparison the shanghai tower is significantly larger scale project not to mention there is no nationalistic symbolism behind it...

Government policies gets implemented in weeks, not years. China also runs their entire banking system like a utility...

    doh didnt work. the long 5x 575 straddle i used as hedge ended up flat after goog dropped $37 as the price didnt gap enough + vol implosion, but the price did gap enough to turn my short strangles into a loss. closed 1x 560P at 16 and 3x 570P at ~28 for a net loss of ~28pts ($2800)...
