I really like the Tradovate platform and customer service people

Made my first cash transfer and the ACH came from NINJA. Makes me a bit more comfortable knowing that bit of information. Was worried that Tradovate FCM would not be as adequately capitalized but I think I can put that worry to bed now.

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

It does stop when the trailing drawdown hits your starting balance for both evaluation and funded traders as well...

Yes, and yes. Also trading my own personal brokerage account.

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

Nope. No resets. 18 straight days. Had a few rough sessions but was able to break even or reduce loss. I'm ready to become the GOAT and yield the fruit of my 20+ year journey. Turning 44 this year, gave up a great career and am now finally close to becoming t No reset. Started a few...

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

LoL. Not exactly. Since 2 years ago - covid era - I stopped trading for awhile due to failed evals and loss of personal brokerage account. Worked some weird jobs to get by. Now after having saved some cash, quit my job to do this full time again. Let's just say that "I'm all in..." I've...

My attempt to earn a funded account with Earn2Trade

I think a lot of people who have never tried an evaluation with these funder firms are under the impression that the trailing drawdown is infinite. It's not....it stops when your trailing drawdown reaches your starting balance. Sure, it sucks but if you're a decent trader with good risk...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

I will not disagree that statistically speaking, these firms can be viewed that way. But never once did I refer to them as "prop firms" --- as a matter of fact, in all of my previous ET posts, I am almost sure that 95% of my mentions refer to them as "funder firms." This alone tells you how I...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

I mean this with all due respect but what "false info" are you referring to? I want to clarify any misunderstandings about my view of these funder firms. Yes, I am currently doing an eval. Do I think that they have the traders' best of interest at heart? Of course not. Do I think that they...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

I personally view these funder firms as a great way to generate "EXTRA" income...not be my main source of trading profits. That's why a lot/majority/99.5% of evaluation stage traders fail to take profit even if they are good enough to "get funded" -- if they just got rid of their greed then I'm...

This makes them even more legit....

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

You definitely raise some valid points. The thing about trading on a "sim" even as a funded trader is an ugly concept but the money is real --- I've taken profit withdrawals from both TopStep and OneUp while funded on a sim. I do agree about E2T --- they seem like they're the most legit funder...

Any feedback on APEX TRADER FUNDING?

It seems like Apex has a pretty decent trader following. Not too familiar with them. The only real criticism I have is the "once a month" profit withdrawal. Any feedback is always greatly appreciated!

    Much props to E2T

I thought that scandal a few years ago was gonna toast their business but they hung in their like a champ, innovated their program and now they seem to be back to their previous positioning.... Good PR/Communications job by the screen name Orianna/Arianna (I think I mispelled the name).

I really like the Tradovate platform and customer service people

Interesting stats on NinjaTrader, the parent company no doubt..... But my understanding is that the Tradovate brand will continue as a separate company.....like ETrade and Morgan Stanley. Please correct me if I am misinformed...thank you

I really like the Tradovate platform and customer service people

However, I have to wonder about the safety of my funds with them as an FCM. They will be migrating my account to Tradovate FCM (from Dorman) in a few weeks and I have to wonder about the "funds segregation" I saw in their CFTC FCM data from more than a decade ago that they had $0 funds...

Avoid TopStep....from a former Topstep cheerleader

Been doing okay with my own IB funded account. Thinking about opening another evaluation with OneUp. Topstep and the bullshit micro swing account "holding over the weekend" rule is total nonsense. Then again it is their capital so nuff said. Thank goodness for competitors...
