Today I'm down -15.8% on open May SPY puts (137, 136, 135), a 1,000 contract position. This is such a large % of my money, I am very, very afraid.

Any strategy that is tremendously profitable will bound to be discovered and exploited to the point it loses its profitability. Similarly, there are times when price-action based systems lose their effectiveness.

I don't get why would you want to title a journal taking your account to zero. It's like the person who called himself "failed_trader." Seems like self-sabotage.

If the odds are against you, such as when gambling in Vegas, the best strategy is to put everything on one gamble. If you have a consistent advantage, then you want to always bet a size that doesn't cause ruin.

Anyone have good experiences with Optionhouse? I'm reading mostly negative reviews here. I've tried Interactive Brokers, but their platform isn't very user friendly, imo.
