PDT killing you? why not futures?

... since they re-invented Single Stock Futures (SSF). Instead of trading 100 MSFT three times per day you can trade 1 MSFT SSF as often as you want. :p

    Intraday vs Overnght Margin

Your statement is only valid for non-native STP GTC orders that are simulated by IB´s servers. But you can use native STP LMT GTC orders which remain active thru all Globex sessions ( as long as not canceled by the exchange ).

    Data TS6 > TS2000I

Should be posssible. Create a chart window with desired contract and timeframe. Go Menu / View / Data Window. Now you can save this data to a file (format will be ASCII, I think). Then import this file into TS2000. Maybe that you will have to convert ASCII format to OMZ (or whatever) format...

Globex -- limits, stops and limit-stops

What I learned this morning: It is not even a matter of range or not. But they seem to prefer Friday nights. Is this some weird idea of CME/Globex ONLY or do you know of other (electronic) exchanges that cancel GTC orders ?

TS website: Low Fees ---> Futures Commissions You can trade all commodities (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX, ...) as far as I can see at 6.99$ per side (plus fees) during RTH. CME E-Minis at 3.99$ per side (incl. fees). Sooner or later they want to change order entry for futures (currently...

Lind Waldock rates are more attractive if you open your account thru Tradestation Securities Inc. The rates can be found on TS website www.tradestation.com Not a bad choice for trading commodities or "swing trading" ( I hate this expression ... ) futures like YM or NQ.
