Looking at the same chart and seeing an ascending triangle on many daily, 60, and 15 minute charts. "Pop" upon a breech would be a nice little 8-10 point ES run into the close. That's only one observation, MA's on different time frames show another scenarios as well. What are you seeing...

Confidence is required in this field of endeavor. Sometimes it is tough to contain. :) My logic has been defied so many times that it becomes a smaller portion of the actual trade decision. Markets don't care about logic the same as honey badger don't give a f@ck. :cool:

You've said nothing new and it would be an insult to think most traders on this board do not realize those very things. I don't know who is "assuming" anything other than you, hence my comments. I hope your decade has been a pleasant study period. After a few more you will be even smarter...

Watching cl's push back through res. converging again. We are pegging res on all trendlines for spy/spx....but it can easily retrace a small % and continue it's thrust. Very difficult for me to short anything larger than a 6-10 point target. Risk remains to high for me.

At these levels, the consolidation areas are essentially meaningless as they are only occurring during short periods. Oddly enough, this is when some tech indicators such as rsi come into play.....but as always, with extreme caution.

Your target is rising. Can I ask what you are seeing at that level to make it an effective target? Are you simply looking for a place to short with a decent r:r and that is where you are getting your stop and tgt? I ask because they seem to be "hanging" with no real correlation that I see...

INDU at HOD. Tough to short these conditions with conviction. To "me" any ways. Short ES scalps, long SPY on dips. Roll with the money.
