You heard wrong. Ticker is another Andover troll who's been trying to drum up business by spamming our members through private messages for the last few months. He sent 4 times as much spam through the PM system as he made public posts. That's why he got deleted.

Closed threads are searched by default. However, closed forums are not searchable. But since this site doesn't have any closed forums, that's not applicable anyway. Yeah, that's a good suggestion. I'll look into this. Thanks.

Thanks for the report tradermike. The show in terms of its attendance, website, and overall onsite presentation, was pretty bad in my opinion. Seems like the show promoters spent way too much time lining up speakers and not enough time actually promoting the event to the public.
