    Reviewing my trades

Only trade on days when the market is positive.

TA question often asked... "Do trendlines work"?

But it can be done, so I don't put a lot of faith in the fundies. The other reason I ignore the fundamentals is that they bias my thinking and I tend to ignore what the market is telling me.

TA question often asked... "Do trendlines work"?

Firstly ease of use. A quick look at a chart tell me all I need to know about a stock. A visual pleasing look at what a stock has done in the past I don't have access to the research that the institutions pay for. I don't trust the numbers published by the corporations. As long as there is GAAP...

TA question often asked... "Do trendlines work"?

If you combine the system with risk management it doesn't under perform. By cutting losses and letting the winners run you don't need a better than 50% win rate. I rarely have over 50%, but my R/R makes up for lots of small losses. Draw downs are minimal. The goal at the end of the day is to...

    Who gains for my profit?

That should be fairly simple to figure out. Who ever took the other side of your trade.

TA question often asked... "Do trendlines work"?

I don't see it as arbitrary at all. It's a reason to close the trade. For what ever reason the price has stopped rising. Someone smarter than me has done the research and has valued the stock at less than it has been trading for. I don't need to hold if the price is declining. Once I'm in cash...

TA question often asked... "Do trendlines work"?

Yes. I'm a long only investor. I have a very simple strategy. I buy stocks that are going up and don't hold losers in my portfolio. I sell when the trend changes. Yes pretty well for the last 20 years. I tend to underperform in a raging bull market but not by much. I'm on the sidelines when the...

TA question often asked... "Do trendlines work"?

Of course they work. How can something not work. They show the direction of the trend. What is it you expect a trend line to do? FWIW I use trend lines to exit trades. When the trend breaks I exit. And no I rarely get out at the top and usually leave a little cash on the table.

How do famous swing traders like Dan Zanger size up so fast?

No one believed Darvas in his day either.

Who are some LEGIT Retails that "made it"?

What a good idea! Think I'll join you. I'm finding more mindless bickering and less content that I feel is relevant.

I've said that all along. It's a trading asset not a store of value.

I find that hard to believe. Any asset that has the volitility of BTC has someone pulling the strings. Those who own a lot can control the amount offered for sale. They can move the price by controlling the supply. How else do you explain the wide swings in price? To me it looks like the pump...

My opinion is that as rates rise or inflation runs rampant, there is little money left to the consumer to purchase any assets. I believe your right that we're in trouble no matter what. I have trouble envisioning a new type of asset pulling us out of that trouble. Something not controlled by...

Jeez and you give me a bad time because I don't know how to value BTC. :) When we get to the point where I see merchandise priced in BTC I will become a believer. I know you can pay for merchandise with BTC but it's priced in fiat and converted at the going rate.

That was my point about being paid in BTC. The salary is set in fiat and converted to BTC when paid. BTC neeeds fiat to be worth anything.

How do they come up with that data? In order to have buy someone has to sell. You would think with that kind of buying pressure the price would be increasing. Seem range bound at this time which I take to mean that there is a supply out there that will meet the demand.

You never replied to the question of if you'd like to be paid in bitcoin. Either a yearly salary or and hourly wage. You know like 3 BTC per year or so many sats an hour.

Oh come on, I don't hate bitcoin. If it ever gives me the opportunity to climb on the bandwagon I'll be happy to take advantage of it. I just responded to the idea of being paid in BTC and gave my opinion that it was a risky proposition. How about you Noah, you willing to be paid in bitcoin...
