I agree that it is difficult to value something that requires a greater fool to increase in value but trading is about speculating on price movement. Hold until the trend changes.

I agree; How do you come up with your position size? I take the amount of capital I'm willing to risk and divide it by the dollar amount of my stop. I risk the same percentage of my capital on each trade.

Something you have no control over. I priorize the things I can control.

What is on top of your list?

Once you have established that a trend is in place why are you waiting for a pull back? If it is a strong trend it might not pull back. Is it a consumer rationalization that you want to buy something on sale to encourage the retail trader to get involved?

I would probably give you the opposite advise. As a short side trader you are more likely to take your losses quickly. As a long side trader you are more likely to turn a trade into an investment to avoid the pain of a loss.

And why not? If it's going to break the all time highs an investment at 40K should give you a decent return. It's atrade. Just know where the exits are.
