    Any trader From Italy?

Haven't seen that many. Maybe I'm used to other standards :) Bologna is not Sulmona, but I wouldn't say it's so bad. I can't find any statistics though

:) Then you should have enough time and money to try that for a few months. Failure is maybe an option, after all :) oh, come on. Barcelona is not that bad. And I can imagine Tenerife can be quite hot in the summer

the question is also what you do if you fail. You pack your things and go back? This is something to consider if you have no experience

Apparently Sant Cugat is basically Barcelona. They even have a metro station to go to the city. Which wouldn't be bad. I have to say that as a city I prefer Barcelona, but London does make some sense. Especially for inexperienced people.

I wonder how many people are willing to move to Sant Cugat.

(How To) Hire A Programmer? What Precautions?

I don't know why, I missed this one. Jonny, I want to say that once more: don't talk to people you don't know, specially if you want a long term relationship. You are a trader aren't you? Would you advice someone to give money to invest to someone unknown? Even if with credentials? Think...

(How To) Hire A Programmer? What Precautions?

exactly. I would say that wareagle's approach makes most sense, not only for security. I also think that there is a difference between software that "just works" and software that will be enhanced in the future. One of the biggest issues in software development is maintainability of the code...

    experienced doesn't automatically mean talented.

Senior programmers do the same, and worse. Paying more doesn't always help

    I don't miss office politics.

No. Having a dumb boss really sucks. And that does happen quite often. And if the boss is not dumb, his boss will be. Never forget the Peter principle: in a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.

a human clone? I was indeed a bit surprised to read this one, but when I saw that the site was founded in 360 BC as "Gladiators Weekly" I was relieved :)

    TWS and Ubuntu

I don't have Ubuntu, but it shouldn't make a difference. I ran it on Mandriva, and now on Suse. You can run it standalone. The Unix version is what you need. Only one thing: I had at the beginning problems because it was very slow, but this was because the video driver was not good. If you...

    Any trader From Italy?

The Circumvesuviana is the worst train ever. You might as well go to Kandahar. Just watch out when you go around, don't take valuable things with you, and know where you are going. The pictures you posted about Sulmona are mostly from the region of the national park, which is not bad. I...

    Any trader From Italy?

happens often that people raise the voice. Results are coming, slowly. As it should be expected. I don't know what to tell you about Sulmona. You seem to like small, quiet town on the mountains. It's just not my kind of place.

    Any trader From Italy?

There is nothing. Small towns, some mountains, many people in the winter, very crowded at Christmas, some people in the summer. It's good to spend some days there to ski. Roccaraso is probably the most famous ski resort in the region. Here are some pictures...

    Any trader From Italy?

Yes, but only the mountains. Been there many times. It's okay to ski there, although not as good as the Alps, of course. I'm not sure I would like to live there. Bologna for me is still the best option.
