I thought the 33c was SOLD ? Once the 30c expires, if you keep the 33c. would you not be naked. Am I missing something, did I read it wrong?! How is the upside 'unlimited' in this diagonal - was the 30c sold and the 33c bought? ?

    Spanish89- Opportunist Trades (2nd journal)

so, you did this to trade a "pullback?"is that a worthwhile r/r to keep adding risk by averaging in? OR you have a reason to believe it won't go higher?! Do you use indicators, T/A or another means to determine a top. Is it all fundamentals and you are using a dartboard to pick a top. I...

    Spanish89- Opportunist Trades (2nd journal)

I've noticed over the years that some traders are fixated on shorting. The OP seems to only see the short side. I can understand that as when things fall they plummet faster than when they rise, typically. But if you are a perma-bear, so to speak, what do you do to produce trading profits...

    Spanish89- Opportunist Trades (2nd journal)

listen... i have no idea where CL will go. But your reasoning is NO basis for shorting unless you have deep pockets. Now, If I saw a key reversal (outside bar) and it was confirmed - - - I would back up the truck. lol but unless there is a break of some major support or a key reversal/blowoff...

jasinhbca's quest for discipline, knowledge & profits

hard to trade futures if you are "weak hands." Very difficult. I watch the action and think "this is not easy, how the H does a newbie stop from getting shaken out repeatedly." I am not a futures trader per se, but I am used to taking heat. Plus I am long NDX calls today and most days long call...
