    Huge Build in Crude Inventory

I get emails from several different companies, some of these can be found on news feed from dow jones or bloomberg. You can find general supply demamnd data at the DOE website- http://www.eia.doe.gov/

    inflation nightmare coming?

inflation only works when people have jobs AND the money to pay higher prices. The average Joe is losing both of these right now

Watch your health please... TRaders beware of Cholestoral

A very good friend of mine died last night. Just talked with him a couple of days ago, very healthy and led a fairly healthy lifestyle. I was told he died of a heart attack in his sleep, not sure how they know this yet but still just in shock. Mark was 49 years old with 2 boys under 6. Not sure...

    Buy signal triggered

It's sad when the market mocks you and sells off on your signal. You need to stop sucking Larry Kudlows perma-bull dick. BTW, I am still waiting for your promise of VIX to 0.

    Huge Build in Crude Inventory

Landis, do not put any faith in the API #'s, nobody in our business uses them anymore. There are no reporting requirements, and the data is very spotty. Not trying to say there won't be another huge crude build in the DOE's, just saying that using the API's is like using stocktrad3r for advice...

Did stocktrad3r commit suicide in the last 4 hours?

he was allowed to leave his padded room for the first time is a couple of years. He is in shock at what the real world, outside his delusional mind, looks like. Either that, or he is taking care of his daily margin call. Margin call video- <object width="425" height="344"><param...

    Michael Phelps is a Pothead

There is nothing wrong with an occasional smoke, those that fight against it either never tried it, or have a problem in some fashion with it.

Did the economy really expand between 2003 and 2008?

Production of real goods like plastic dogshit, and stainless steel kitchen appliances that went into all the mcmansion's that nobody could afford. The excessive consumerism was fueled by debt, that is my belief. Too many people just had to keep up with the fucking Jones's, buy all kinds of...

Did the economy really expand between 2003 and 2008?

funny, I have been trying to tell people this for years now, there was no organic economic expansion, it was nothing more than a credit expansion.

    Oil longs

Prob not a bad trade at this point, all the tech signs and spread collapse never garnered the momentum it should have for a larger correction, we always knew the fundamentals sucked hairy donkey balls, but even with turning techs you can't find a solid bid. I have given up on a move over $50 now.

Exchanges closed , how much time was warning before closing down ?

If the banks were nationalized, given the share value is very little to begin with, one could forsee it happening over a weekend and shareholders getting cashed out at the friday close. I may be dead wrong, but I have doubts they would shut down the market over nationalizing a bank or 2.

Exchanges closed , how much time was warning before closing down ?

I thought that question was clear enough, but here is another way of asking it- do you think the exchanges are going to close down from an event, and what is that event?

    raw land and inflation

If things get so bad that land ownership is stripped from you, then you wouldn't need to worry about inflation anyway.

    raw land and inflation

The reason I personally choose raw land over anything else is that it is a hard, tangible asset, not a piece of paper. If you own a hundred acres, you can hunt it, use it for agriculture (crops/cattle/orchard), lease it for agriculture, lease minerals, live on it, have a nice weekend place...

Even if deflation is short term risk, what is your long term 'inflation' play?

Still out sick, worst illness in over 10 years for me. First time in my life I have missed bidweek at the office  Been good for a mental holiday though, playing a little full tilt poker!
