    Signal trading MT

The problem with signals is someone else created it and unless you have confidence that it will work it is useless. Trading is ultimate a confidence game -- how much faith do you have in the direction of your trade.

El Salvador to host 44 countries to discuss Bitcoin

I don't know that it is failed but I think if you really analyze the major cryptos I still believe they are electronic commodities which makes since anyone born after the Netscape IPO has only known internet living and not the old analog living (CDs vs MP3s, streaming vs. cable, etc.). It is...

NQ Invesere head & shoulder formation daily chart

No way there is any legitimate rally in markets without Euro & Yen rallying. Today Euro was up over 1% which explains the rally fairly well. There is still massive volatility. There were times when NQ gave up & recovered gains of 1-1.5% in a matter of minutes.

    Tether collapse journal

Seems like Tether is a systemic risk to the whole crypto industry. I'm surprised more large players don't backstop it with their own money. If the scenario laid out by Specterx does transpire I wonder if the US Treasury will step in since cryto is heavily ensconced into the Millennium & GenZ...

    Tether collapse journal

That was interesting read but since BTC existed before Tether it probably won't completely collapse but yeah 50-60% is quite a potential drop.

Do bonds and stocks really move in the opposite directions?

In the early credit cycle bonds & stocks both go higher since lower interest rates mean easy borrowing for companies & of course lower rates mean higher bond prices. In the late cycle (which we seem to be in) bonds definitely go lower but stocks are a mixed bag. Usually in the early days of the...

Those tweets from Bianco are interesting because on CNBC he is usually permabear on stocks but he seems to be bullish on ETH which seems odd to me. His claim that the price can't come down because only 3% is tradeable is nonsense. I guess he never took Economics in college -- prices are...

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

Thanks. That makes sense. I think the long term average in the US markets is about 8% including dividends.

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

What does the 5% refer to? Are you guaranteed 5% from a bank or something. I'm not familiar with the details of the Superannuation fund.

So I assume FTX.com is different than FTX.us. Anyway the best would be if there was an options exchange for cryptos but its probably too dangerous for the market makers. There is probably private swaps or CDS' somewhere but its probably for institutional players.

Favorite stocks or etfs for a Bounce?

Best SOXL FNGU. TARK CLDL good but illiquid. There is a lot of overlap between FNGU & TARK (2X ARKK). TARK was up 24% on Friday. For stocks just buy the biggest dogs in the last few weeks like COIN HOOD bitcoin miners marijuana stocks etc.

Yeah those CDS' were worthless. I mean Goldman was never gonna payout but then those idiots at the Treasury forced AIGFP to pay off Goldman and they survived. I guess years of bribing the US Admin finally paid off for them. That scene was funny where Baum was talking to that lady asking how...

Then why does the owner of FTX come on bubble vision (CNBC, Bloomberg, etc.) every week? Why market your company on a network where they don't even accept clients? Very strange.

Close shave with Anchor protocol. My thoughts on the TerraLuna ecosystem crash

The problem always was the 20% yield. The 10 year is 3% and they are paying you 1700bps more? That's beyond D rating and veering into F. Any yield that deviates from the market is courting danger long term. I used to own MLPs and mREITs which routinely pay 5-15% dividend but they only work in...

Can it be shorted? I remember there was a hedge fund that had long term puts on the Swiss Franc Peg and they made out like bandits.

Market looking nice and juicy to the upside tomorrow, I think the bears...

I reversed positions at the open today and sold my SQQQ & SARK and bought TQQQ & TARK. My hunch is this will be more than a 1 day rally. TARK opened up 14% higher and still went up another 10%.

Shades of the LME reversing the nickel trades that might have wrecked havoc on the exchange. Most of these exchanges are scammers like Binance & Coinbase.

Buy Apple. Apple not supporting 2014 products, forcing consumers to buy upgrades.

Apple's hardware is very expensive. You are paying a huge premium for their software & stability. Apple doesn't actually sell hardware they sell appliances. They are extremely limited in what they can do on purpose. A Linux or Windows box can be a million things but Apple computers can't do...

Australia’s property boom making the nation poorer

Is the opposition any better though? In the US you have 2 parties that both work for the Oligarchy. The only real difference between the Democrats & Republicans is their social issues and even those are really used for voting blocks on the edges like this obsession with abortion rights by the...
