Indeed. Looks like one did not have permission to seek change in mode at 1435 eob because red just became dominant one bar ago and therefore one expects a retrace/lateral/pennant/ formation before permission to seek change.

:D I did not miss it. But that was for intra-fractal traverse, for which we had permission to seek change after 1315 close of , I think.

? And here's our increasing black (which is not one of the three cases) 1555 close of OB. Next bar - peak volume, but we still have not seen a retrace.? Correction: 1540 close of - return to dominance, 1550 close of retrace and 1600 close of signal for change?

Well, it looks like the market dropped 12 points without giving permission to seek change on 5 minute ES Traverse level. Then it came back up - and still has not transitioned to black dominance. :confused: :eek:

1 traverse and since the market is yet to transition to dominant black, I think we're suppose to see increasing black, which is not the result of thethree cases, followed by retrace/lateral before having permission to seek change in mode.:)

Spydertrader, if you'd be so kind - do you use some kind of rule of thumb (with respect to OHLC ratios) to differentiate an actual Spike Bar from something that only appears to be a spike.
