:) and how could that leg be moving to a pt3 with a higher high? Quote from ljyoung: The 10:50 bar completes the sequence which began at 10:05 and the 10:55 bar gives a SOC (peak volume) which can be considered and at this point a traverse trader could reverse and go short...

You were absolutely right about that first traverse of the morning. I just can't figure out how one would have permission to seek change where the Spike Bar shown Peak Volume. Both bars with increasing red volume after point three in that traverse are one of the three cases where increasing...

MOTHER of all Psy Ops campaign to begin soon....just watch!!!

one month until election, the repubs f*cked up big time. They just want to grab the last piece of candy off the table before getting kicked out of the room :D

To me, it does not look like the sequence for traverse is completed and therefore I expect a second dominant traverse after lateral one. In cases where there is a channel I often notice (a) no signal for change after the sequence for the first dominant traverse is completed , or (b) the sequence...

I don't have a clue - and it drives me nuts.

Sorry for not being clear, I meant the reasons why no permission exists to seek change at that point.

Aye, Guava rules! When you have a chance - could you elaborate on "No SoC" mark pointing to 1135 eob. Thank you.

    Amen to that.

Don't know if I was lucky or right - can't account for increased red volume 1300 eob. Increasing black 1330 eob comes from spike bar - the sequence for up traverse is not completed.

Does increasing Volume always indicate dominance? Certainly, you can already name three instances where Price moves from Point Two to Point Three on increasing Volume, yet moving Point Two to Point Three clearly represents Price moving in a non-dominant direction.

Seems like all increasing red volume after pt3 in your first traverse comes from FBP BO and Spike Bar.

R2R, followed by Lateral Retrace. Waiting for pt3.

:D To avoid the scenario where I arrive at the correct conclusion using incorrect logic - let me solicit some feedback here: The first increasing red volume in the red down traverse comes from Lateral BO - 1400 eob. The market then retraces and turns increasing red again 1430 eob. That...

Which is a definition of Lateral FBO. :D But you may got the rules right. :( I fail to discern any rules with respect to which Laterals are the laterals for the purposes of establishing when dominant volume is not one of the three cases. It's a mess. Sometimes it works, sometimes it...

I was kind of hoping that 1330 breaks the lateral - that would make the 1345 eob the first 'legitimate' increasing black volume in that traverse that comes after lateral retrace. 1250 eob - spike 1315 eob - SYM BO 1330 eob - spike If one keeps that lateral - Where's The Black (which is...

it closes back inside the Lateral Retrace beginning 1120 eob bar (not annotated on a snippet) - no pt3 yet
