Due to price decay, I wouldn't use FAS/FAZ charts for more than a few day's look-see. I'd make those kinds of decisions off of the XLF. And then relate it to a FAS/FAZ buy.

Yeah, it's still a little "iffy". I have a HL and a LH - equilateral pennant. But since it came in from below, I expect it to go higher - 65% confidence. ES however, is clearly in a down trend. Of course this means nothing about what's coming.

Actually, a triple bottom there. 2 yesterday, and another one. But I see a flat bottom pennant forming. Bearish.

Honestly, if it were me, and I had the PDT rule hanging over me until Monday, I'd take a 5% gain, then sell half and match my holding with a FAS position, then walk away market neutral until tomorrow. Rinse and repeat tomorrow. You give up the potential for a home run to hit singles, but...

I'm still undecided, been sitting on the sidelines since before the FED ann. But I'm seeing HH, so maybe FAS. The naext half hour or so may give a direction. Tough to say with such low midday/overall volume.....

Who knows. The point is, I don't see the channel he's referring to. I took these green lines off in the previous post, but this is all I see.

What channel are you looking at?

Daytrading. Buy one or the other. The only talk about owning both at the same time would be if you have only 1 day trade left, and don't want to use it up to get out of your position.
