    Serious question for evangelicals.

Well, I did a little more digging and was able to find reliable resources with lists of endorsements. As of early last month, 60 preachers had released public endorsements for Huckabee, but all were very careful to state that it was personal conviction so as not to lose the church's tax...

    Serious question for evangelicals.

I have a serious question for evangelicals. I keep hearing stories of evangelical preachers helping to motivate congregations to vote for Huckabee. I personally don't make my way into these congregations very often, so I don't know what to think about these reports. Given the format and...

Why Is John Edwards Still Running?

We'll see. I would pull my adds in SC too if I were him. That one is Huckabee in a landslide. If Romney gets anything above 15% it is good. Unfortunately for him that won't get him many delegates in a winner-take-all state. I think Huck takes about 15-17 of those delegates. Even if Romney...

Why Is John Edwards Still Running?

I was joking, but in any case there is a good chance that Romney wins the nomination anyway.

Why Is John Edwards Still Running?

What about something unprecidented? Edwards accepts defeat. Mitt gets knocked out. Together they've got enough wealth to run indie without much fundraising, especially considering the free publicity the stunt would get. Mitt runs independent with Edwards at VP. :D

    Election predictions

I also think Hillary vs. Romney. I think the race will be very tight and the VP selections might come into play. It's amazing to me how much the media wants to say that both of these candidates are out of it. Hillary had a little hiccup in Iowa, but is back on track. For all the "no...

    Ron Paul, where'd you go?

It depends on what "documentaries" you're talking about. Most of them classify as docu-porn in my book. Created to be entertaining rather than informative. They're meant to be absorbed and perpetuated by those who've already convinced themselves of a conspiracy. Not objective at all, and...

    Ron Paul, where'd you go?

Where I live, I am given an activation code to even vote in the first place and multiple workers verify that my name is disabled after the first use. It is all but impossible to vote twice and any suspicious results are tallied again by a manual paper count.

WTF Fox News Snubs Ron Paul

Where I live it is both electronic and paper. The touch screen voting machines print out a paper ballot and display it to me for me to accept or reject. If I accept it, the paper ballot is cast. Any weird results of inquiries are handled by manual count. Also, I am given an activation code...

    Ron Paul, where'd you go?

Like I said before, it would be easier with electronic voting with a single system on a national level, but this is the primaries. To rig this system would be so difficult that it is unimaginable. And there is nothing so far that even hints at voter fraud. Evangelicals are mostly...

What will happen to markets? (I'm not an amarican)

Long term it doesn't really matter. Market generally does good in election year. Certain candidates are good for market because they want to eliminate cap gains tax, or at least continue the low rates.

    Huckabee VS. Obama

Doesn't matter who consents to it or who doesn't. IMO, it is the most blatant failure of our judicial system I know of.

WTF Fox News Snubs Ron Paul

Well, Paul isn't getting snubbed from the forum tomorrow. Let's see if he makes anything out of it. The problem is that he probably won't pull more than 6% in Michigan and he definitely won't break 10% in South Carolina as huckabee is going to landslide that one. Somehow he has to make it...

    Current Delegate Counts

After listening to much analysis I really have to admit that I'm floored by a couple things. The first is that certain people were suggesting that Clinton would be gone shortly after NH if she got beat. Absolute nonsense! Second, and just as amazing, are those who say Romney is getting...

    Current Delegate Counts

    Current counts are as follows. Republican Romney --- 42% with 30 delegates Huckabee --- 30% ; 21 McCain --- 14% ; 10 Thompson --- 8% ; 6 Paul --- 3% ; 2 Guliani --- 1.5% ; 1 Hunter --- 1.5% ; 1 Democrat Hillary --- 55% with 183 delegates Obama --- 23% ; 78 Edwards --- 16% ; 52...

    Ron Paul, where'd you go?

It might be over for Ron Paul running on the GOP ticket. He gave it a valiant effort, but he needed a much stronger showing in New Hampshire. There are a lot of libertarians there. He shoulda been able to get at least double the votes that he got in the end. I think he will consistently...

    New Hampshire Predictions

Well I kinda missed the Dem side. Pretty close on the GOP side though. Their performance relative to my predictions: McCain +7% Romney +3% Huckabee -3% Paul -4% Guliani +1% Thompson -4% Clinton +7% Obama -4% Edwards -4% Richardson -1% I think the deciding factor were the...

    New Hampshire Predictions

So far it looks like she's gonna get 40%!!! Who woulda thought. Doesn't look like the independents came through for Obama. Seems many of them stayed with McCain.

    Huckabee VS. Obama

I say you fight one battle at a time. Intentionally losing a battle to win the war never sits well with me, but especially in this case. We aren't talking about losing a battle on immigration or taxation here. We are talking about murdering an infant while it is more than half way out of the...

    Current Delegate Counts

Just one more comment on this topic since I just briefly mentioned it. Hillary had more than 10% of the delegates needed to win the nomination before the voting even started. When considering this I have to admit that if Obama or Edwards pull it off. It will be the biggest upset I've ever seen.
