    Slippage factors

What do you mean "for sale"? Slippage on etf's depends on volume of the particular issue, public participation, volatility, sponsorship, etc, etc. It also changes with time as more people pile on. For example, 5 years ago when I was first trading IWM and its S&P sister, IJR, the spreads were...

    rookie

rook, if anybody here had the answer to that question on a regular basis, they wouldn't be here, they'd be on some island paradise enjoying their $millions. To "win" at the trading game you either buy and hold for 20 years(no, buying dotcoms with PE's of 200 doesn't count), or you need to find...

    trading baskets

IB's platform will do it in 5-10 seconds (market orders). Usually, there'll be a handfull that can take up to 20 sec but that's because they get held up at the specialist/exchange level.

    Cold Calling Future Guys:

What if they hire you to "evaluate" your strategies and then kick you out 2-3 mos. later after learning them? I need an additional $2-3 mil to trade my strategies efficiently but won't take it to anybody for the above reason(s).

    Neoticker

I tried it with 2 gb ram/3.6ghz/winxp pro about a year ago on about 1000 symbols and it would crash after an hour so I gave up on that project. The computer was working *only* with neoticker, btw. I was dissapointed because I DO like the look/feel of the platform and the guys at Tickquest are...

    Intra-day charts from WAY back.

It is/was so different from today, that it renders the data *completely* useless, other than for old-timers to sigh and exclaim...ahhhh...I miss those trend days!

    Elliott wave

Another soon-to-be washed-up elliot waver decides to show his market prowess and surf the market tsunami. btw, no matter which super-duper theory you're using it's never a good idea to step in front of a freight train.

    Steve Nison Seminars

What for? Ever heard anyone trading big money attribute their success to "candlesticks"?! What a joke. It's a visual gimmick for amateurs.
