NYC and Raleigh Traders Needed for Interviews

I doubt they would do that since they say "Any information contained in the interviews as well as the videotapes will only be used for research purposes."

NYC and Raleigh Traders Needed for Interviews

I asked myself the same question and I'm not clear myself on this. A lot of professionals in their thirties moved here with their families because of high paying jobs combined with much cheaper homes than New-York or whatever other area they migrated from. But the only person I see having time...

NYC and Raleigh Traders Needed for Interviews

I AM in the Raleigh area but don't qualify since I'm not in the category of people who "base their trades on real-time information, rather than on careful analysis of charts and companies or in reaction to news events." They are probably profiling the customers to whom some new intraday...

Oil moving down huge after strong inflation numbers - ironic?

Ironic, I don't know, but logical yes. The strong inflation numbers were created by higher oil prices and provoked a big chill yesterday. Oil prices don’t go up on their own and need American consumers to buy and import with confidence in order to keep going up.

Oil takes down this market starting today...

Lets not forget who wags whom, to this date still. If gas prices become too expensive for Wal-Mart shoppers, gas prices will either go down or increase at a much more moderate pace, which is good for stocks in both cases because the stock market has shown that it is willing for now to adapt to...

    100% Consumption....Zero Savings....

Which part of the article made you feel better about the overall situation? That the number of high net worth individuals (people with financial assets of at least US$1million, excluding home real estate) climbed by 14% in 2003 or that the number of people investing in the stock market has more...

    New Indicators Feed back

    A. Some indicators got my curiosity going: 1. Merging "Lowest value over a specified period" with "Highest value over a specified period" into one graph where you would see both curves could be interesting. 2. Developing the True Range concept with volume or volume*price data might yield...

    The $6000 secret

That's why he went ballistic on you but not on people with stupid and hostile questions, as mentioned by Sridhar, because he knew you figured out his system.

Is the July rally getting exhausted or consolidating for the next run up?

Propensity to go up. Good point. And that propensity to go up is based on a flow of good and bad news with the good outweighting the bad.

Is the July rally getting exhausted or consolidating for the next run up?

I agree with protrader 2005 about the job market starting to loose steam and the danger that situation represents for the near future but bulls have been much more cautious than bears over the past few months so I think the trend is still up for now. I can't recommend any position for...

    Veni Vidi Vici

There's nothing you can do about it, this is caused by degration of the IE browser in immediate image rendering. Another suggestion would be to download the Opera browser. Very good stuff.

    Veni Vidi Vici

Have you tried maximizing your browser; and clicking on the expand icon that appears after a couple of seconds when you drag your cursor to the bottom-right part of the graph?

Wouldn't that be an very risky strategy right now, to short stocks while pushing the price of oil down?
