I am curious to get some insight on why Ahmadinejad/Iran are being so boisterous and provocative about their nuclear progress. What purpose does being aggressive like this serve? I don't get it...If they truly want nuclear power and the right to enjoy it peacefully - why are they being so openly...

people are managing their finances just like the US is. Keep spending as much as you can with no regard for the future. The reserve is unique in that it can print more money which it does 24/7. Maybe they will install money printing machines in these subprime properties?

there was a while there where asia would take silver overnight and run it up another 20 or 30 cents and then hand it back off... been a while since weve seen any material moves like that overnight though..

i read a great quote last week to the effect that the market cap of the two largest blue chips is greater than that of all the gold mining companies combined. just a point of interest that if a lot of money starts migrating towards theses type of stocks - could be a lot of upside.

there is only one tap in the market and it is liquidity on or off the table. oil/gold/indices trade in tandem. i believe gold should be trading inversely to the markets at this point - but it aint. the liquidity spigot knows no asset classes.
