    GBA Presents: THE GREEN MARKET

so i did it - i hit the close all positions 100% button, clicked past the 5 warnings and watched the entire portfolio liquidate in a few seconds. a contrarian indicator? likely. the only thing keeping me in the market this month was greed - i guess now fear won - not a good strategy. see ya'll...

    CoinDesk finally comes clean

yes, i would accept bitcoin. i don't think it's comparable to tulip mania in that btc can be transferred easily worldwide for goods and services. i recommend listening to a few daily briefings with Raoul Pal on the long drive if you want to understand main-stream adoption of crypto.

    CoinDesk finally comes clean

i see btc as a currency. except easier to transfer and move around internationally. in theory, in the future property could be encoded as an nft and could be bought and sold without any intermediaries and documented on the blockchain - but that's a tangent. *edit- i need to improve my explanation

DJIA will implode today - Next month 27k

jpow won't let this market tank - he'll say something like "the recent weakness in the market suggests 'transitory' has come out of retirement and deflation is the real risk so no rate increases in 2022".

this drivel doesn't warrant a reply. i think you've proven who the real high-schooler is - although bringing your shit into the debate makes you sound more like a preschooler.

    CoinDesk finally comes clean

are you calling me a high schooler? if so, them's fightin' words! to me the btc debate comes down to one simple idea: we're facing inflation, some predict even hyper-inflation. btc is a fixed supply. it's easy to transfer anywhere, it can be used to buy goods and services, etc. if everyone says...

    CoinDesk finally comes clean

    1. ^USD and Gold^ are pyramid in a way that early investors make money buy new investors coming in, pushing the price up and selling to them. Pretty obvious... 2. New money needs to come in, otherwise price would fall. It is because miners ^and printers^ constantly sell. If nobody buys those...

    GBA Presents: THE GREEN MARKET

this graph succinctly explains my current frustration with the market and my tax-loss-harvesting dilemma... will the 65% of companies trading below their 200 dma suddenly rebound driving the Nasdaq to 17K, or will the shoe drop on other 35% of companies?

in mid-November I exited oil in a timely fashion and shorted travel&tourism - this positioning is still running- but i think my fear of a covid/lockdown-winter has already come and gone in the market's psyche. time to get long long oil again and close the shorts? anyway, picked up some AVTR on...

    End of loose monetary policy?

there's an elephant in the room that everyone is either ignoring or oblivious to - and if i'm wrong i apologize in advance. the spike in covid cases in europe are occurring in countries with higher vaccination rates than the US. if you look at yearly charts, a spike in cases in the US would not...

    GBA Presents: THE GREEN MARKET

reviewing my trading history, a common theme appears. i sell too soon. i've owned shares that would have increased 50-100x, not once or twice, but many times. but i sold with 30-120% gains. so, time for more changes. LEAPs. Owning LEAPs changes the mindset. it forces one to think in terms of...
