I know. I could buy a call option on SQQQ etc.

The DAX acts like a put option on the US stock market. It´s because we are much closer to Ukraine than the US. Can´t imagine what would have happened if the nuclear power plant had exploded today.

Because trading from europe i ´m not allowed to trade any inverse ETFs like SQQQ etc. Trading futures overnight would be another option, like @mikerely metioned, because you can use stops for 23 hours a day with the exception of weekends

Would like to know how you trade the current market (PUTIN WAR), short selling stocks or buying put options (or verticals)? Never went short in stocks before. Seemed too risky to me in view of possible short squeezes

I would like to know charting software which can show daily candles on an extended hour basis. I´m using motivewave which is able to show ETH and RTH daily candles. Does anyone know other software which is able to do this?

I was also using IB´s data for stocks and futures in motivewave, quantower and medvedtrader and noticed that due to they are snapshot based you see differences to data in TOS and TWS because the snapshot data in motivewave dont´t get corrected to the true values. That means the snap shot data...

When using TOS´spread hacker i noticed that it shows me only credit spreads but no debit spreads. I entered a min. probability of 68% and a min. profit of 40%. The screen is always red what means only credit vertical spreads (Bear call spreads and Bull put spreads) show up. Does that mean that...

TWS is awful. Yesterday i tried to set up a vertical spread. The whole process went so viscous and laborious. TOS is much better.

Why do you prefer day trading SPX options on expiration day over day trading futures? Is that because of the limited risk you have in trading options (only premium could get lost)? With futures you could have a similar leverage and the spread is smaller.
