[CANADA] Low Latency, Low Commissions, Direct Access via API

The current prop that i trade with does indeed give me good commission rates considering my large volume with all ECN routing and latency stuff. But it is a discretionary trading platform which works for old school like me but not sure it would be what you are looking for

LeeLoo Preformance Account- A Ghost Account

lol reminds me of a prop firm I was with years ago that used to keep 3 months of payout at all times and then pay subsequent months. M surprised these things still fly today

Stock trading above sell lmt / below buy lmt price?

Even then should not happen in thick stocks where lot of ECNs are there with spreads not so wide. It is not an exchange issue, there is some issue on your broker side

LeeLoo Preformance Account- A Ghost Account

Maverick Trading, Top Step etc. they all have a similar model wherein the income is from subscription only rather than any actual trading. The failure rate of majority traders helps them keep this up

Canadians using CMEG, hows sht locates compared...

Man CMEG has worst of locates even compared to IB, was with them couple of years back and still keep hearing the same story. You can try prop firms. The current one I trade with finally gives me good locates but not sure abt others as haven't live traded with them

    Can you avoid broker’s fees?

Sorry people I replied without realizing it is a forex thread. Btw in reply to this question I pay .003/share commission on stocks currently

    Can you avoid broker’s fees?

If you trade a lot of shares like I do, then better to switch to a prop firm as they are competitive in terms of commissions and you get good leverage on capital. Though you will have to split generally between 15-20% profits with them for that leverage

    Low ECN Commission Brokers EU?

Commissions for a round trade of 100 shares is less than $1 these days on the equity trading side (atleast at my current prop is) so yours still looks high. I trade more than 700-800k shares a month so makes a diff for me

Stock sell value differs from onscreen value

Either you are using some really delayed feed broker or confusing the execution price that is printing with bid/offers being shown. Do you have Level 2 data access then you can see what is going on?

    Directly routed midprice orders

Don't think IB allows darkpools or specific ECN routing anymore. Though I recently switched to a prop but hearing the same complaints from lot of traders on the retail side

ALARIC Trader: The Real Deal? PDT? Reliability ?

Lol the leverage and market timings are really mediocre here. Don't know how the platform is. Most props with $2000 capital requirement now allow complete 4am to 8pm access, provide 30x leverage and access to buy locates for HTB from 5am ( been with props for over 2 decades and I already trade...

Looking for remote prop firm in freestyle stock trading

There will be lot of prop offers that will give you better than 70-30 split (mine current one is 85%) but most will require you to put capital as they have first loss basis model. This is more so for firms outside the US but if you are a US resident then it is a diff ball game
  18. D

Does Bright Trading Accept non US residents?

No they don't. I have tried it several times in various firms (T3, Bright, Chimera etc.) so started trading with a prop outside US. Non US citizens/residents would have to apply for prop firms outside the US

    ThinkOrSwim Realtime for Canadians

Agree I use TOS for charting as well as find it really good on that point but trade through a prop as more feasible for me due to large volume and access to all ECNs and darkpool network
