I would say 1 out of every 10 trades, depends what I'm trading though. On ES, NQ it's not a problem.

I trade the ER2 intraday. I usually take around 8 - 10 ticks per trade. The only thing that pisses me off is that sometimes it won't move at all unless the ES makes a big move.

I meant mechanical as in crossover type of trades. "buy here, sell there" etc.

IMHO, I don't think the holy grail can be a mechanical system, and I don't think it can be any "crossover" type of system, because by that time it is too late. I think if one uses indicators in their trading, watching patterns develop on indicators themselves could produce good results, instead...
