Trade others mkts, thats what I have done. No need to just give up, NYSE is but one exchange, there are plenty of others to learn and conquer :)

Look at both charts, the newer contract has a lot more volume than the old one. I would switch.

The last 4-5 years is irrelevant, things have changed a ton in the last 4+ months. As far as the NYSE is concerned (which you will be trading), you should find out how much these guys are making per month starting this past Jan.

Yikes, NYSE trading has changed DRAMATICALLY in the last 4 months. Are these senior traders still making good money? You want to be very careful here, you may not want to join until you know these guys have made adjustments. Otherwise, you might be in for a very bad time.
