Good observation. The behaviour of the 30-yr treasure bond was strange. It didn't do much, just shrugged it off and continued higher. Seems like long term interest rates is not rising anymore. Could be a good thing (?).

No charts, just pattern that I'm seeing throughout the day during the past week or so. My chart is telling me we're range bound but this is more of a gut feel thing.

With the recent turmoil being taken care of (insider trading arrest), I see the Nikkei ready to go up from here. firm support at 15200 - 15400 is evident. I got in on 3 contracts of NKD right before close. Targetting Nikkei to be at 16200 by next week - if that. Tight stops.

While plausible, I doubt it will happen. Maybe a 25% increase in oil prices but our Saudi friends will pump more oil into the market to stabilize prices. $200 oil may happen years down the road or an embargo. A war with Iran wouldn't bring oil up that much.

You honestly think Iran only wants it for powerplants? Take into account what their leaders are spewing every day about destroying Israel. You're in denial. While I don't advocate an attack in Iran, I wouldn't exactly be against it either.
