    Crude bounce.....

    I think the risk premium will start to decline over the summer as the hurricane season plays out, particularly after september ends and high gas prices might be hazardous to incumbent's health. OTOH, a nice hurricane hit might spike it but good... limited risk on either side based upon time...

    $ Silver $

    but its so shiny, happy, and pretty! Pleasant to hold, and it likes to be held... (eyes glaze over) All crapping aside, the way the miners were absolutely manipulted over the last few weeks was unreal... if I was these guys, I would have gone private looong ago.

    Bond rally nearing an end?

    U gotta be a bit more specific about things than that... I'm still structurally short the long end. While I'm not sure if it is relevant in people's minds, I note that the bank loan CEF floating rate funds remain relatively stable to somewhat bid. Suggests to me that the market does not...

    $cost.... any thoughts at what levels you might get back into brazil? I'm watching the ewz for about $2 lower where I see some support and thinking about averaging in at that point. Unfortunately, there is little technical support IMHO once the bovespa cracks 36000. right on on the GLD...

    I too sold out of my canroys and am looking for lower levels to get back in... but suspect that after inflation #'s last week worsening this whole sell off that we will see lower oil prices and continued canroy weakness over the next few weeks

    Poll: Crash or Bounce?

    If anything, we hang out for a little while here before trying to test 10900 ish levels where I think we will find good support. Already close to support levels on the S&P & Nasdaq, but Nasdaq sure does look shaky though, does it not? A close below 2100 might beget a quick run to 2025, and...

    China - Main index touching 8 year lows, is this the moment to enter?

    Chinese ETF market has been interesting since that last post I made of 7-13-05. Current closing prices as of Friday 5/19/06: FXI USD 78.15 and PGJ USD 16.94. Year period highs for FXI: USD 83.90 and PGJ USD 18.07. When compared to closing prices of 7-13-05, FXI is up 35.4%, and PGJ up...

    Gold is going to correct further, yes or no?

    Yes and Yes, but in two quarter point increments. A full half point move would crash the market and ruin ben's credibility. Inflation realities are understated, and even with a half point move up, the real inflation rate is running much higher than published rates. Dollar Down. Gold up...

    43% Of 1st Time Homebuyers Put $0 Down

    Sorry, you have an electric couch? :D P.R. is a beautiful island.... can't wait to go back. I'm so confused on the: 1) Cash is trash, government will inflate/hyperinflate so max out your borrowing vs. the 2) Pay off your debt and own your home outright so you don't have to worry...

    Ppi And Cpi Next Week

    If it is a foregone conclusion that the dems will win, expect a nice little recession to even things out.. just like in '91. No point in keeping up the charade if it doesn't benefit you politically. Turn it over to the other guys in a mess and let them clean it up... .1 Core... wow, that...
