I am starting to think that he probablly has a very highly leverged and risky strategy, and his strategy probablly had an EXCEPTIONAL week this week... I would be highly surprised if his results continue at anywhere near their current pace... If they do, then as I said before VERY impressive.

That is true ALL trades must be submited by the trading bot... no discretionairy trades are allowed according to IB's website? Are all of your trades being submited by your trading application?

follow, From what I heard concerning last years winner is that he made only a couple of "lucky" trades in the first few weeks of the competion which doubled his account and then basically sat on his lead the rest of the way through.... I am very curious to see the leader boards when posted...

I like the idea of going live after a big drawdown day......... I have noticed a type of seasonal correlation to the bot's performance... while looking at historical data and results it appears the bot performs MUCH better at the start of earnings season.... and then starts to fade out...

Kohanz, The changes do not change the basic "foundation" of the algorithm.. intead most changes are dont let a position move 15 pts against before getting out.. giving the bot a few fail safe exits that are only implored in exstreme conditions..... maybe market jumps crazy after a fed meeting...
