Bigbubba, Yes it runs fully unattended. The software I use is software I custom designed.

Torel, I set a monetary limit. The limit isn't based on anything technical. Its just a limit that if passed then I no longer feel secure in running the system. Something has to be seriously broken with it for it to reach that amount however.

At 2:40 Central time everyday the bot closes any position it had open that day. The bot carries no knowledge of positions from day to day. The next day it starts over looking for new signals. It may be more profitable to hold overnight, but I like the luxury of being flat at end of day... no...

nonlinear, It failed to follow the trend due to a difference in timeframes. There was a very apparent trend in the timeframe you showed, but not in the time frame the bot was looking at.

Nasdaq5048, No, I do not use any disaster stops. A loss like yesterday is not very common with the strategy, but can happen. I have found that for the most part disaster stops hinder the overall performance.

walter, Yes the paper account's results were the same.. well actually was off a couple dollars, but that was due to the difference in fills between the two. But the jist of the results was the same....

Byproduct of how the equity curve is rendered. The numbers at the bottom are the trade number. So since a new point on the curve is only added when a trade occurs it produces the result of not having any flat regions.
