The big boys don't need any reason for anything. They may give you a false sense of hope making you think selling is over and then BAM... next thing you see the rug is being pulled from underneath you :).

Why not take a stop of a few points and re-enter instead? You'd keep a lot more profits that way while reducing your risk.

My target is 1947 by EOD. If we get there, I'll cover 1/2 of my short.

Agreed... This is a short only day, new lows in cards and possible follow through to the downside over the next couple of days. I'm holding my swing trade shorts established last week at higher levels.
