    Neural Networks Revisited

about NADEX? yeah I have referenced them several times before, probably with the same syntax. I don't think I've ever alluded to my near-perfect trade though. I'm in bed half asleep still but will PM you later today; I have some Qs that I want to ask if that's OK? What I've discovered in...

    Neural Networks Revisited

you should look into binary options via NADEX if you're anywhere North of 70% accurate with up/down predicting. I think my stuff can get into the 90s, 100% is silly. (and completely awesome) I have one glorious setup that hits nearly 100%, but it's difficult to trade as the move happens so...

    Neural Networks Revisited

Very nicely done. This gives me further encouragement for an ML project that I have currently going. I know an nth of that which the rest of you all seem to know, which is why I have a team working on mine for me. Mine has a very specific focus but the results you've posted are also in line...

Really enjoying the discussion, one of the better threads on ET in a long time.

I've suspected this for awhile. thanks for the post.

    Neural Networks Revisited

I probably worded my response very poorly. my point was for readers to not simply think "oohh, plug in price data to Generic ML algorithm and create ATM Machine!" kind of thinking. :)

    Neural Networks Revisited

NNs aren't smarter than us, and thus won't magically uncover something that you haven't already figured out. But you can use Machine Learning to uncover patterns if you tell it what to look for. They're really good for testing stuff out in mass amounts that would otherwise take us months /...

    Anyone try Binary Options? Thoughts?

cool, yeah NADEX is a good way to start and build up. I believe the CME offers some binaries as well but I haven't looked into what they are.

    Anyone try Binary Options? Thoughts?

NADEX is liquid enough for any ATM bet that you're placing. I pike around often on the 5-minute FX bets (as I posted earlier) and routinely see a spread of 2-2.5/contract. Is that amazing? No, it's still shit, but it's better than 12-15 wide like you'll see during the quieter hours. These...

    Anyone try Binary Options? Thoughts?

I just did these. I've never gotten a sub-$4 fill until now lol. (Sold 97.5). I should've let them expire as I gave up $41/contract, but I wasn't sure of the outcome. Still not bad to sell 97.5 (risking $2.50) and cover at $41.5. 22x return give/take. like I said, it's rare but it does happen.

    Anyone try Binary Options? Thoughts?

100% isn't the max return. That's the minimum you should aim for. It's rare, but I've hit $8 pays $100 before. The point is that you just have to be right on the barrier expiring ITM, whether by one tick or a hundred. anyway, nobody has a gun to your head lol. Do whatever TF you want!

    Anyone try Binary Options? Thoughts?

Not when you trade at NADEX. You should never pay more than $48/contract trading there (of course you can, but you shouldn't) as then you're always going to net 100% after their fees. If you can get direction right and be patient, it's tough to find a better instrument to trade.

The TREND is your friend.. The biggest lie ever!

that was beautiful, lol. I've PM'd with IAN for a couple years and never once been solicited. he has my off-ET contact info and never once have I been spammed, pitched, or the like. clowns.

cool, thanks. I recall from a couple of years ago that they listed the possibility of those higher amounts for Senior traders in their program, but yeah it's gone now lol.

Do they give an honest account of potential funding? It seems as if the possibility is into the millions for a good trader, but how realistic is that? PTP is not a tiny firm. Of course I understand the math behind giving up 20% of P&L, but if it means that much backing then it's not a...
