Securing successful strategy from the broker stealing it

I got you perfectly. I was making the point that even if he has been a very successful trader for the last 10 years, his broker is not going through the efforts and the risks of front running his orders.

Securing successful strategy from the broker stealing it

Frankly speaking, I don't know of an anyone that was able to consistently make 20%-30% per year in all economic cycles, regardless of anything. But I know several people, even Nobel Prize winners, who consistently made money for several years and then blew-up. If I were a broker and I spotted...

Securing successful strategy from the broker stealing it

Thats funny. I heard stories that brokers are following you to actually get opposite side of your trade, especially when they spot that the order is coming from likely uninformed people (retail).

Looking for a tool to automate option bid offer on the base of underlying price

Hi everyone. I am looking for a tool that would allow me to continuosly update my bid offer on US equity options depending on the price of the underlying. It is a tool similar to the one used by market maker, but is should follow two simple rules: Call options: 1) If the last underlying price is...

Playing the after hours market with expiring options

Thanks for the hint. It is not the first time you discuss openly about actionable idea and I really wish to thank you for this. I have just one question. What broker do you use? I have IB and usually they start to liquidate my positions that could lead to an assignment a few hours after the...

    Contrarian/ Buying the lows

If the number of exchanged options is bigger than the actual OI, it tells me that it must be fresh money. I am sure that you that worked with the Narjaran brothers know this very well.

    Contrarian/ Buying the lows

I use OI just to understand if it is fresh money or someone closing the position. This is absolutely critical, since I am catching falling knives.

I got all wrong the signal on MHK and I took the resulting painful losses. Apparently, I had a problem in identifying the correct OI that led to the misinterpretation of the signal. -SOLD 1 MHK Aug16'19 130 CALL @ 1.35: -60% -SOLD 1 MHK Aug16'19 135 CALL @ 0.4: -80% -BOUGHT 1 ZM (-6%) Aug02'19...

    Contrarian/ Buying the lows

I don't give a f*ck myself, but here it says that there are more males than female traders: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-banks-trading-gender/wall-street-wants-more-female-traders-but-old-perceptions-die-hard-idUSKBN1JA0DF

    Contrarian/ Buying the lows

Actually, if someone had unpleasent experiences should have become wiser, not more foolish. Why is bad? I was under the impression that male traders outnumber females. But I would be happy to be proven otherwise.

    Contrarian/ Buying the lows

He kept saying that mine was a simulated account, then when I asked him to put the wallet where his mouth was, he wimped out. He also behaved childishly during our discussion ("you don't have $1K to lose", "Go count your pennies" and so forth). Anyway, mine was not a threat at all. Actually, I...
