    Trading with automation (with IB)

Briefly, 2.4M becomes 3.7M where net incom(difference) is 3.7M. Since the expense is 100K, the tax ratio is roughly 0.1/3.7=1/37=2.7%. Am I right? Unbelievable!!!!

Track Record · Testing my system live

Suppose 50% every month with seed of 12K, then annually 128 times by 1.5^12 =129.7463. Therefore after 10 years how much will your asset be? PS) If there was any SINGLE traders in the world in the last 10 years, then you should be broke now as well as Buffet ad Gates. I am sure there was NO...

What do you consider a good yearly return? (In percent)

The trading logic (annual 25% profitable) can be transferred to your family(son). Modern capitalism was almost same after the stock market appearance in Holland about 400 years ago. If there is ONE trading logic with annual 20% or more and it is transferred to son's for 400 years, then...

What do you consider a good yearly return? (In percent)

In case of future meltdown, it might be reasonable to make OVER the index. For example, during the index 10000 to 6000 for ONE year which is annual -40%, he should lose ONLY 10% in order to make 30% OVER the index.

What do you consider a good yearly return? (In percent)

To say 25% compouded, you should make 10K to 70000*10K for 50 years by 1.25^50= 70064.92. Can you or did you do that? PS)If you say surely, then I can lend you cash for annual 12%, under forced sell.

What do you consider a good yearly return? (In percent)

Does anyone show annual 20% compounded in the last 30 or 50 years? Raise your hand, without just hoping. PS) Note that annual 20% compounded makes 9100 times by 1.2^50 = 9100.438. PS2) For the first 10 years, it grows only 6.2 times by 1.2^10 =6.191736.

    Why Traders Fail

Almost half of all traders is winning before the expense(tax+comm). However, due to the hugh expense, 90% is losing eventually. For example, my friend told me he spent 20 years in stock market to find a loss of $500K. In fact, he is now winning IF there was NO expense. In average, he lost...

What do you consider a good yearly return? (In percent)

We may better to find others (good) record, than hassle useless debate. One is by Buffet's, as shown in http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/letters/2016ltr.pdf In short, over the last 50 years, SnP was roughly 8% up annually. However Buffet's outperformed roughly 8%, over the index. (annually...

Brokers for US citizens outside the US

Good to hear! I heard that UK, China, Korea and Phillipines charge transaction tax, with NO ANNUAL INCOME TAX. How mush do the Phillipines pay the tax? For example, if one buy and sell US$10K in PH, how much do they pay? There is a hugh difference in trading logic between market with...

Brokers for US citizens outside the US

In some country like Korea, commission is proportional to the amount of tarding. For example, trading cost to buy 1000 shares of $10 stock, is same as 1000 different priced stock for each $10. If you have trading logic to enjoy splitting, then you SHOULD have advantage which is NOT possible in...

What happened to the old traders

Most traders, I guess, keep his trading until die or broke. Also there are more broke rate, like in the 2009 crisis, who enjoyed high loan.

Creating a group of REAL professional traders?

Probably only less than 5% of all traders can say this. For example, for 50 years (30 to 80), estimated living expense 2M (annually 40K) is minimum. He is supposed to take cash of 2M from stock market.

Creating a group of REAL professional traders?

If any new kind of room (exclusive only to who open his record) is introduced, I am interested in joining. Any member should open his account (verifing success), like in every month or every year or last 20 years like Buffet. Also should post at least one study every month. Furthermore, one...
