That's why I try to use larger stops and grab a larger piece of the pie. If I can capture two 6-8 point moves per week, the week is normally successful. Every time I would risk 2 to get 2, I'd end up a break even trader always swearing that I "knew" it was going up/down, but just didn't have...

That's an awful lot of losses for a market that trended down until 1 pm and slowly trended up weakly until 4. What do u think were the cause of these losses? Are u trying to catch every move ?

How do u figure u risk only $170 ? If it takes u 10 times to pass the comine that's over $1000 in fees. Now u are paying $80 a month in data and now u need to hit a certain cushion before u even hve a chance for a payout

There's no free lunch nor any way way to circumvent the process. Whether u trade with them or your own money, you will feel mental pressure. You want to get through this crucial step in the process, not avoid it.

Why trade their account ? U lose 60/40 tax benefits, have to pay up 40% of your profits and have to spend a countless amount of $ trying to get funded.

AAPL needs to lose about 20 more cents for all it's longs to get trapped. Then we could see some selling

If this was any day other than fed day, I would be putting in a bull put spread on spx under yesterday's lows till options ex. But fed is killing that trade.
