where does monetary policy go from here?

If QE is slowed, the banks will tighten lending, interest rates will rise, etc. That will cause less people to qualify for borrowing. I see the QE as a hedge against the big banks' bets in case they go sour so without it, their lending standards will likely become even higher. I don't see...

where does monetary policy go from here?

do you think we can expect the same quantitative easing policies throughout the end of the year? Will the deflationary pressures if easing is slow seep into consumer goods? We will surely see rising interest rates but will demand fall in things like automobile, housing, etc - which are all...

where does monetary policy go from here?

the speculation around the moves in monetary policy seems to be something the fed wants out there to keep that the center of focus but behind closed doors, is there really any chance of tapering of qe3? I can refer to an article I read a while back with opinions from Carl Riccadonna, UBS' Drew...

If u had a great track record, what prop firm would be ur 1st choice for backing?

I agree. it's very easy to reverse engineer a strategy. You can start by narrowing the type of stock they are trading, the ranges, the volumes, the spreads, etc and then see the chart patterns to figure out their entry/exit strategy. in the prop world, the way they put their order in also...

It depends what it is. your broker who sees all your trades can definitely figure out what you are doing under the right circumstances.

5k these days doesn't get u far. u can try t3, wts, avatar securities, jc trading group. all will require a series 56 license. The only way to avoid a series 56 is to go through a program like maverick trading or alpha 7 trading academy where you pay for education and then trade the firms'...

Problems with Thomas Lanzana's Black Box Pulse prop firm

igotcash, there are reputable firms out there. the reason the offshore ones are closing is because of regulatory reasons. Some returned capital before funds got frozen and others like IBW got the funds frozen. There are reputable U.S.-based firms. Stick to them.

    WTS, EchoTrade, T3 - Leave a Review

I trade with WTS. is it the cheapest of the 3 and have the most services in house (their own software, their own reporting system, their own back-end etc). it's not great and the customer service sucks but if you are a good troubleshooter you can save a lot with them.

seeking prop firm to bypass PDT rule

that's not a good idea. seek a u.s. based firm and get the 56. Look at all the other international firms. they are all closing. the DF act fully goes into effect the end of this year and it won't be pretty for traders who have their money offshore to avoid registration, background check...
