Wow, you don't like it here???? I moved to Sarasota last October from Kansas City. Although I miss KC a ton, I still love this area.

How to use Multiple Time Frames to Trade

Just remember that support and resistance levels on a higher time frame are more powerful on smaller time frames. I look at the 60, 30 and 15 min for larger S/R levels, and enter on a 5 minute time frame.

    Any daytraders from Florida?

Yes, but I have found that to really only be the case on the other side of the state. Over here on the "suncoast" it is quite nice, but I do miss the midwest.

    Any daytraders from Florida?

I literally go down to Siesta Key atleast 5 times per week. I am new to Sarasota, and my only two friends in the area live there. The Siesta village is cool. You have the "Speak Easy" and the "Daiquiri Deck" very close to the beach. Sarasota is small, but for you young single fellas...

Ed Moore, Option Magic, Rhythm of the Markets

I am confused. Look at the date of stock punter's post. How did it get bumped to the top?

Ed Moore, Option Magic, Rhythm of the Markets

One of them was me. It does work, and I actually visited with Ed Moore in Reno. However, I am not trading this way anymore because I found something that fits my style a little more.

    slippage of FTSE100 futures

"slippage" on the e-minis of .25 is only one tick, and I am assuming you only trade with market orders. What is the volume of the FTSE100? That is probably the answer to your question.

    unique view of the market

You thought that was funny? Come on man. That was weak! I feel sorry for you if you were falling on the floor after reading this lame attempt to be clever.

    unique view of the market

As far as your third point, you are probably right. Never understood responses from these geeks that hide behind their keyboards and take potshots at posters asking legitimate questions or looking to have interesting dialogue. Don't get me wrong, there is some funny stuff posted on these...

    Bread and Butter

sorry metooxx, you were also having intelligent conversation about gaps. I hope you didn't think I was including you with the rest of the morons. I would absolutely love to know how many of the above clowns are profitable. Zero?

    Bread and Butter

Brandon looks at gaps, thetraderprofit reads GAAP, and the rest of you clowns are talking about your lunchboxes and someone's ass. You call this entertaining? Are you traders, or really just a bunch of "posers", or maybe just a bunch of freakin losers?

    what's up with e-minis

FFastTrade and Interactive Brokers are good. I think that was already posted, wasn't it?

    what's up with e-minis

Most places it is less than $2,000 for margin. Different requirements for minimum maintenance account balance.

    what's up with e-minis

FFastTrade is $3.32 a round turn. You also have a monthly fee of $550, but it is quickly amortized over the month if you trade multiple lots with multiple turns. Blows away IB.

    Why actively trade ETFs?

Didn't see that, but who really cares? If it upsets you so much, why not just ignore it? I love this site, and Baron deserves a ton of credit. But the only thing I dislike is posters that hide behind their keyboards and monitors and take potshots at people. You see a lot of these posts...
